It is our understanding that a dispensary submitted an item from Moon Mix to the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority that tested past the legal limit for contaminants. We have been notified that crops grown by Sooner State Wellness have been included in batch #154 in the latest medical cannabis recall. We welcome a full review of our operations by the OMMA. We will work expediently with the OMMA and the public to resolve any perceived issues and are willful participants in providing full transparency during the recall process.
Sooner State Wellness is committed to delivering quality, pharmaceutical-grade cannabis. We strictly follow Oklahoma guidelines and test all products that come from our facilities as well as our partner farmers at every step of the supply chain. All dispensaries are provided with full panel tests before the sale of any products. We hold ourselves to high standards. Providing pure, sustainable medical cannabis products is the reason Sooner State Wellness exists.
When a recall is issued, we remind customers always to check the batch number printed on product labels. Batch numbers are the unique numeric or alphanumeric identifiers assigned before any testing to allow for inventory tracking and traceability. If you possess products with a batch number under recall, please dispose of them and do not consume them.
None of our products have ever shown signs of contaminants. In addition to Moon Mix, we partner with five different processors in the state, and no other product affiliated with Sooner State Wellness has shown signs of detectable contaminants. All policies and procedures adhere to the protocols established by USDA organic crop production. Not only do we test our products in line with OMMA rules and regulations, after the initial Moon Mix recall, we also re-tested every product in our possession and are willing to make those results public.
We maintain extensive records of our cannabis and cannabis products that are always available for review. We also have a recall policy that aligns with Oklahoma law in place to protect our customers, affiliated dispensaries, and partners. We will be distributing copies of our policy to all our dispensary customers. Sooner State Wellness is always available to discuss product purity standards and quality assurance.
